Module catalogue
Module catalogue
Reference for integrators and implementers. It lists every built-in module and business type: what it creates, what it needs, what the install adds, and the status flow of each main table. How the installer works is in .
The catalogue has 33 modules (9 foundation, 24 process) and 18 business types. You can read the live list at any time with the list_process_modules MCP tool or in the Set up from modules dialog.
How to read the tables below:
Module gives the id you pass to the installer, and the name shown in the picker.
Tables are template ids. Most are also the table's purpose. The table name in your project is derived from the template id.
Requires modules are added automatically. Uses if present modules are linked when they are already installed, and are never added for you.
Foundation modules
Foundation tables are shared. A second install reuses the table you already have.
Module | Picker name | Tables | Requires | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| People directory |
| none | The project's default staff directory. A project has exactly one, so an existing one is reused. It unlocks working calendars for scheduling |
| Contacts & Companies |
| none | The shared B2B address book |
| Customers |
| none | Individual consumers: clients, patients, guests. The B2C address book |
| Products |
| none | The product catalogue. Services are separate |
| Services |
| none | Bookable services with duration and confirmation mode |
| Product categories |
|
| A category tree. Each category's attribute set decides which product fields are required, recommended or hidden. Install links the catalogue to the categories automatically |
| Price lists |
|
| Tiered prices by region and customer group, currency rates, tax rates |
| Locations |
| none | Sites, branches, warehouses, rooms. Locations can nest |
| Ledger |
| none | A generic append-only movements table that powers running balances |

Install adds: the quote total as a rollup over its lines; pipeline value and deal count rollups on companies; a Managers group, and only that group can move a deal to Won; kanban boards by stage; a sales dashboard; and automations for lead to deal and quote to order. The automations are starting points, and their conditions may need tuning for your project.

Install adds:
shift_management: a roster view on the shift schedule, already pointed at the sibling tables.
booking_reviews: average rating and review count on each practitioner, recalculated whenever a review is added, including from the public review form.
booking_site: a ready-to-edit site document in booking mode, bound to the bookings table, and the public booking settings on the bookings table's default view, which switch the anonymous booking API on. It does not publish. Open the site and use Publish to web.

Install adds:
billing_ar: invoice totals, payments and credits as rollups over the child tables; Outstanding and Aging calculated from them; tax calculated per line from the tax-rate table (from foundation_pricing) by jurisdiction and category; an ar_balance rollup on customers; a default grid that colours the outstanding amount; an invoices kanban by status; and an accounts-receivable dashboard.
billing_store_credit: the available_credit balance on customers. It forbids negative balances, which is the whole overspend guard. Credit is applied to an invoice with the store-credit/apply action.
memberships: the Issue membership invoices rule, the Change plan rules, an active_memberships count on customers, a memberships kanban, a grid that highlights past-due rows in red, and a dashboard with monthly recurring revenue (MRR).
property_management: the Issue rent invoices rule, an active_leases count on each property (occupancy), a lease kanban, and a dashboard with occupancy and rent roll. When field_service is installed, work orders get a property link so a maintenance job can be raised against a unit.

inventory_stock creates a movement table whose purpose is core_ledger. It provides the capability core_stock_movement, which is what purchasing, pos_sales and production look for.
Install adds:
inventory_stock: the on_hand balance on the product catalogue, split by location, with FIFO cost layers on; a reorder_point column; a low-stock view; and an inventory dashboard. on_hand may go negative.
pos_sales: the sale total as a rollup, a recent-sales view, and a dashboard with revenue, sales by day, top products and payment method. Stock moves only when you complete a sale.
production: a production-orders kanban and a dashboard. Material consumption lines tie back to the FIFO cost layers when the stock ledger has them. Stock moves only when you post an order.
reviews: average rating and review count on each product, recalculated on every new review.
webshop_site: a ready-to-edit storefront site bound to the catalogue, and to the reviews table when it exists. It does not publish.
promotions: order-level coupon codes, percent or fixed off, with an active flag, a validity window and a minimum-order gate. The storefront's coupon check reads this table through the site configuration.
delivery_fulfilment: one shipment record per order, with carrier, tracking and a status flow. The storefront checkout creates the shipment, and the delivery connector registers it with the carrier and polls its status.
Field work, venues and classes
Module | Picker name | Tables | Requires | Uses if present |

|
| Dispatch & Fleet |
| none |
|
| Reservations |
| none |
|
| Classes & Enrollment |

|
| Events & Ticketing |

|
Each of these has a "no double-booking" table (work orders, trips, reservations, class sessions, events) and is otherwise installable on its own.
Install adds:
field_service: the work order total as a rollup over its lines, a dispatch board (kanban), a dispatch calendar, and a work-order dashboard.
dispatch_fleet: a dispatch board, a trip calendar, and a fleet dashboard (trips by status, vehicle and driver, plus fares).
reservations: a reservations calendar, a host board, and a dashboard with covers by section.
classes_enrollment: the enrolled_count rollup and seats_left, a class calendar, a sessions kanban, a Capacity grid that turns red at zero seats, and a dashboard with capacity against enrolled.
events: the registered_count rollup and seats_left, an events calendar, a registrations kanban, a Capacity grid that turns red when sold out, and a dashboard with fill rate and ticket revenue.
Health
Module | Picker name | Tables | Requires | Uses if present |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Patient Records |
| none |
|
core_patient is a dedicated clinical record, kept apart from the customer book. Install adds an encounters calendar, an encounters board and a clinical dashboard. Clinical data is private: no table of this module is exposed to the portal, and there is no submitter column.
Status flows
Each main table starts with a built-in status workflow you can edit. Terminal states lock the row unless noted. States marked "frees the slot" belong to a Declined bucket, so a no-double-booking table no longer holds the time for them.
Workflow | Used by | States in order |
|---|---|---|
|
| Draft, Sent, Partially paid, Paid, Void. Void locks the row. Sent and Partially paid move to Paid by themselves when the outstanding amount reaches zero |
|
| Requested, Scheduled, Dispatched, In progress, Done, Invoiced, Cancelled (locks, frees the slot) |
|
| Draft, Ordered, Received, Closed, Cancelled |
|
| Open, Completed, Refunded, Void. Completed locks the row but may still go to Refunded |
|
| Draft, Released, In progress, Completed, Cancelled |
|
| Awaiting payment, Created, Accepted, In transit, Arrived at pickup, Delivered, Returned, Cancelled, Failed. Failed can go back to Created |
|
| Trial, Active, Past due, Cancelled, Expired. Active and Past due switch automatically (see below) |
|
| Draft, Active, Ended, Terminated |
|
| Scheduled, In progress, Completed, Cancelled (frees instructor and room) |
|
| Enrolled, then Attended, No show or Cancelled. Not locked, so front-desk staff can correct attendance |
|
| Requested, Confirmed, Seated, Completed, No show, Cancelled (frees the table) |
|
| Requested, Assigned, En route, Completed, Cancelled (frees vehicle and driver) |
|
| Draft, Published, Completed, Cancelled (frees the venue) |
|
| Registered, then Attended, No show or Cancelled. Not locked |
|
| Scheduled, In progress, Completed, No show, Cancelled. Completed locks the row, so a signed note is amended with a new note, not reopened |
Other built-in workflows: booking_lifecycle (Requested, Confirmed, Completed, Declined, Cancelled, No show); the CRM set (crm_lead_lifecycle: New, Working, Qualified, Converted, Disqualified; crm_deal_pipeline: New, Qualifying, Proposal, Negotiation, Won, Lost; crm_quote_lifecycle: Draft, Sent, Accepted, Rejected, Expired; crm_order_lifecycle: New, Confirmed, Fulfilled, Invoiced, Closed, Cancelled; crm_activity_lifecycle: Open, Done, Cancelled); the shift set (shift_lifecycle, shift_coverage_lifecycle, shift_swap_lifecycle, hr_time_off_lifecycle, hr_person_skill_lifecycle); ledger_basic (Draft, Pending, Posted, Void) for ledger tables; and pim_lifecycle and pim_price_approval, which are available as templates in the status editor (the price list uses pim_price_approval: Draft, Review, Approved, Archived).
Membership dunning
The two directions run on different triggers.
Out of Active. An unpaid invoice alone is not "overdue", so the rule also requires the days past the invoice's due date to exceed 7 days. The module keeps that number in a calculated column (days_past_due) that the daily refresh recalculates.
Back to Active. A payment settles the last invoice's outstanding amount and reactivates the membership in the same save. There is no grace period on the way back, and the last invoice must have had a real charge.
Only Active memberships are billed, so a Past due member stops accruing new invoices.
Business types
A business type selects modules; it adds no logic. The Core modules define the type. Optional modules are pre-selected and can be dropped. Dependencies of every module are added on top (for example bookings brings in foundation_services, foundation_people and foundation_locations).
